Changes to the District Grant Program for 2025-26 RY

Planning a district grant project for the 2025-26 Rotary year? You will want to read this!

LeAnn Mobley, District Foundation Committee

A club applying for district funds (DDF) needs to qualify each year to participate in the grant program. Training has changed and is now ONLINE ONLY. There will not be a training via zoom this spring. The district has created specific training slides for the grant author and the treasurer. Each has a short quiz that they need to pass as well. The training slides can be found in 2 locations: on the Rotary Learning Center under Learning Topics, and on DACdb. If you wish to use the Learning Center, the instructions are located on the District Grants Overview page on DACdb. The links to the slides hosted on DACdb (2nd location) are also found on the same overview page. (be sure you are in the 25-26 Org Year). Links to the quizzes are posted on both sites. The only difference between the platforms is the method by which the information is presented. Information appears in single advancing slides on the Learning Center, and it’s formatted as a “PDF scroll” of slides on DACdb. The goal of these changes is to provide comprehensive information for you, make it relevant in your role, and have it available in a succinct format whenever you need it for review and reference. You can access the training materials now.

Some important dates to remember: grant applications are due June 1st, and club qualification must be completed no later than September 1st.
