Thursday morning, before the noon meeting, I met President Valerie Lovelace at an “Alice in Wonderland” themed mural project that the club had completed downtown near the new Children’s Museum. It’s difficult to capture the scope of this huge mural in a photograph, but trust me, it was amazing! They worked elements of the building into the design, and of course branded it with Rotary!

Every Rotary Club has something special to show off, and Rogue Gateway is no different. Their members donned custom-made Rogue Gateway name badges, modeled for us by 10-year member, Bela Toledo.

It was Student of the Month Day, and August Bates was that student. This amazing young man has been a driving force to see to it that many of the community’s food-insecure get food to eat. And the Club showered him with more than $1000 in gifts, including gift cards and $850 in cash!
