2021-2022 Presidential Citations

Congratulations to the Rotary Clubs of Ashland and Rogue Gateway for achieving a 2021-2022 Rotary International Presidential Citation.

Establishing goals at a high level is the standard process for all Rotary Club Presidents.  Setting targets and committing to achieving club aspirations will most likely result in club success.  Such was the case for two District 5110 clubs in 2021-2022.

Accordingly, we congratulate the Rotary Club of Ashland and the Rotary Club of Rogue Gateway (Grants Pass) for earning a Rotary International Presidential Citation.  Past Rotary International President 2021-2022, Shekhar Mehta, suggests that the President Citation is the “most significant award a Rotary Club can achieve.”

Andrew Carnegie once said” If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes.   We recognize Gary Plano (Rotary Club of Ashland) and Steve Roe (Rotary Club of Rogue Gateway), for their leadership as Club Presidents in 2021-2022 and for the energy and inspiration necessary to meet established goals.  Congratulations on your notable achievement.

Current District 5110 Club Presidents have already established goals for 2022-2023.  Achieving stated targeted goals is a total club team effort. We wish all clubs success as they strive for recognition from RI President Jennifer Jones for a 2022-2023 Presidential Citation.
