  2. I always wanted to visit Metropolitan Selma! I look forward to a great event and helping Aimee and Jim celebrate the accomplishments and challenges of District Leadership. We are so fortunate to have such wonderfully skilled leaders!

  3. I can’t wait to see everyone at the Changeover! Looking forward to congratulating Aimee on a great year, welcoming Jim to another great year, and the BBQ. I even booked “John Wayne’s Room” to stay overnight at this peaceful retreat.

  4. To all attending, this venue was John Wayne’s Deer Creek Ranch. Growing up in Wonder and later working for Josephine Co, I was there many times and met his last horse Handsome Boy… when he was pretty long in the tooth….. The fireplace is amazing as were the murals by Pat Quigley.

On the way to Metro Selma on Hwy 199, you will pass through “Downtown Wonder”….. don’t blink…. I come from a town so small the city limits are on the same 4 by 4. ;~)

Hope to see everyone there, peace, progress and purpose by with us. Best, Dave Bassett. 541 660 3131.

PS. Just down the road toward Wilderville lived a most wonderful family named Polk. Scout master Roscoe (Slim), Surrogate Mom, Ruth, Kenny, Susie, Janet, Jimmy (Charles) and Johnny!

Finest neighbors on the planet…. and look at him now! Proud of you Jim!

  5. Congratulations DG Aimee for your mighty leadership and quick answers to all my questions large and small! I am sorry I am not able to join this fun change over celebration and look forward to 2023-24 under DG Jim’s able leadership!
