We are so excited to announce that Dr. Barry Posner, author of The Leadership Challenge, will be our Keynote Speaker for this conference

We are so excited to announce that Dr. Barry Posner, author of the best-selling book, The Leadership Challenge, and one of the most sought-after contemporary leadership speakers of our time, will be our Keynote Speaker for this conference, which is scheduled for Saturday morning, October 22, from 9:00 – 12:00 Pacific Time.  No stranger to Rotary, Dr. Posner has been working with the RYLA leadership in District 5150 in California.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to select and participate in two of six duplicate breakout sessions on fascinating RYLA innovation topics.  Check out the two attachments to this email for details.  Mary Hoskins, a member of our Zones 26-27 Rotary Youth Services Task Force, will be serving as the Moderator for this exciting conference; and like all of the previous virtual conferences sponsored by our RYS Task Force, the is no cost to register for and attend this conference.  However, the Registration Deadline is Thursday, Oct. 20, at 4:00 p.m.

  1. I have been a fan of Posner for years. I can’t even count the number of books on my shelves or videos on my computer. Kudos for snagging such a great speaker.

    1. We ARE very excited!! Our Rotarian friends in District 5150 were able to secure Dr. Posner as a speaker for this virtual conference…he actually speaks to the students at their RYLA!! As you know, Dr. Posner is a thought leader who regularly makes the Top 50/75/100 lists of world experts on the topic of leadership. We’re excited to hear what he has to say about students and leadership.
