On the evening of October 14, 2022  seventy Rotarians from District 5110 gathered to celebrate The Rotary Foundation.  Special guest star Paul Harris (aka PDG Jim Lussier) opened the meeting with a call to “improve the lives of others here and around the world.”

District Governor Aimee and Partner David Walsh received recognition as Major Donors Level 1.   District Governor Aimee Walsh recognized PDG Claire and Ray Little for their 2022 charitable gifts of Major Donor Level 4 and Bequest Society Level 6.

Our keynote speaker PDG Savi Bhim shared a personal, inspirational story that brought many to tears and all feeling gratitude for  the great work The Rotary Foundation does to relieve anguish and suffering of those caught in the grip of social and economic disadvantage.

Lastly, Rotarians raised $14,400 is 5 minutes to support a new D5110 Global Grant for two mobile Medical Units to serve civilians caught in Ukraine’s war zones. Bravo Rotarians, for those dollars are votes for Peace!
