Paying it forward

Since the beginning of the year our club has been purchasing literacy and math resources for three local Elementary Schools and two public libraries thanks to a grant we received (and a club match). We will also be purchasing new books for the Reach out and Read program located at Sanford Children’s Clinic where children birth through age five receive a brand-new book for their home library at each well child check. In addition to this literacy program, we also just finished packing 50 spring break food boxes for youth through our partnership with Bloom. We pack these food boxes 2-3 times a year for Spring break, Thanksgiving break, and Christmas break. A time in which students aren’t able to receive two square meals a day at school.
