Twin Rivers Rotary Continues a 34 Year Tradition of Food Basket Deliveries

On Saturday, 12/17/22, Twin Rivers Rotary Club coordinating with Bruns Apple Market of Eugene and Twin Rivers Dos Rios Elementary School of Springfield, continued a tradition begun in 1988 by Club Charter Member Jim Roller and club member and Past District Governor Charlie Cole.  Twin Rivers members delivered 80 food boxes to underserved families connected to Dos Rios Elementary School in Springfield, OR.  Each box held 25-30 lbs. of quality food items along with gifts of puzzles and games.  Completely funded by Twin Rivers Rotary, it is another example of Rotary’s commitment to decreasing food insecurity and supporting the local community.
