Congratulations to the 16 recent RLI Redmond Grads!

“The geographic diversity of the participants was key to the event’s success.” Rotarian at the RLI Redmond seminar

On the weekend of October 4-5, 2015, on the Redmond campus of Central Oregon Community College, 16 Rotarians from around the District graduated. The two-day seminar included topics such as: Public Image; Membership; Leading volunteers; Funding local and Global Grants; The Rotary Foundation; Rotary Opportunities; and Rotary Basics to name a few. Participants came from the following clubs: Bend; Greater Bend; Redmond; Coos-Bay/North Bend; Ashland; Upper Rogue; Sisters; Jefferson County (Madras); Florence; and Albany. The RLI faculty included: PDG Aimee Walsh; Judy Corwin; Mike Corwin; Kellie Hill; Juli Di Chiro and Gary Plano.  Many clubs offered scholarships for Rotarians to attend. Attendees appreciated and learned from each other about how to address the myriad of problems that clubs face as we are People of Action who want to “Do Good in the World.” We know you recognize these tag lines!

Watch for the next RLI which will be held in Corvallis in late January 2026.
