Coos Bay- North Bend Rotarians Connect at Airport heights Park

CB-NB Rotarians along with friends started the Airport Heights Park Renovation with a spruce up. Members of the Coos County Airport District (commissioners and staff), City of North Bend, Cub Scouts Pack 9, North Bend Cheer Team, Airport Heights Adult Sand Volleyball Club, North Bend Senior Center, and the City of Coos Bay were represented while filling sand areas, painting over graffiti and sprucing up playground structures. The park is part of the Coos County Airport District / Southwest Oregon Regional Airport- North Bend, OR. CCAD Commissioners and Administration began a partnership to create a destination park in North Bend for neighbors and the region. The park has been in the area for decades. Rotary is planning additional smaller projects until an overall park design plan is agreed upon.
