This is a friendly reminder that our next District Grants Meeting is scheduled for January 14, 2023, at 9:00. This meeting will be via Zoom, as winter travel can be hazardous in January. If you are planning on presenting a Global Grant proposal at that meeting, please contact me immediately. Our District Global Grant procedures require you to complete a pre-application form and get it to me one month prior to the meeting. In this case, I will need that form completed by December 14. But the first step is to contact me so we can discuss what your proposed project is, and make sure that the form is completed correctly. The form has been recently edited by LeAnn Mobley, so if you have the old copy, please do not use it.

I have recently been appointed to a new District position of District International Service Chair (DISC). I attended an excellent training at the recent Zone conference, and have new resources and contacts if you are interested in finding a partner for a Global Grant. I will be talking about this at our meeting on 1-14-23.

I hope this message finds you well, and you are enjoying the winter weather. I am looking out at the snow covered hills surrounding Ashland right now, and marveling at nature’s beauty.

Happy Holidays to you all, and hope to see you at the District Grants meeting.
