District Governor 2018-2019

by PDG Bill Grile

In 1905, Paul Harris launched Rotary to leverage friendships and build ethical business relationships.  He knew doing this would strengthen businesses as well as communities.  The Rotary Business Network aims to do likewise.  This week we salute Beth Sheehan and the Eugene Rescue Mission.

It would be hard to identify a Rotarian more dedicated to service than Beth.  She is a long-time pillar of Eugene Delta Rotary Club and dedicated volunteer of too many community organizations to even list.  At the Eugene Rescue Mission, Beth uses her many talents and energy to help underprivileged men, women and children restore lives.  Take a listen to PDG Cindi O’Neil share her experience during a recent visit to the Eugene Mission.

Beth is past president of Eugene Delta and has served D5110 as an Assistant Governor, District Membership Chair, District Secretary and Rotary Leadership Institute team facilitator.  She is a District Leadership Academy Graduate and two-time D5110 Rotarian of the Year.  Rotary is a family affair for Beth and husband Chris Walton.  They support The Rotary Foundation as distinguished Triple Crown Donors.  Chris is Eugene Delta’s president elect this year.

Like Rotary, the Eugene Mission changes lives.  Click here to Learn more about its program and how you can provide support .

Every D5110 Rotarian with a business or profession is entitled to a listing in the Rotary Business Network directory.  If your business is not listed, click here and add it.   Visit the Rotary Business Directory or email team@rotarybusinessnetwork.org if you have questions.
