First District Grants Committee meeting of the 23-34

here are the steps you need to follow to submit a Global Grant proposal

By Juli Di Chiro

Please be reminded that our first District Grants Committee meeting of the 23-34 Rotary year will be held on July 8th in Bend.  If your club is planning on presenting a Global Grant proposal at the meeting, I must have the needed paperwork by June 8.  If you have not already done so, please contact me by email to discuss what you are planning for a Global Grant proposal, and the process that you need to follow to submit your pre-proposal form.  Please note that the Pre-Proposal form is not available on line.  That is because I want to be sure to have a conversation with you before you fill out the form so that I can make sure that your proposed project meets the requirements for a Global Grant.

So here are the steps you need to follow to submit a Global Grant proposal to the District Grants Committee:

1.  Contact the Global Grants chair via email.  My email address is julidichiro@gmail.com.
2.  Submit a completed pre-proposal form to the Global Grants chair by June 8.
3.  Have good contact with the Host club for your Global Grant proposal so that you are clear on the budget and the funding sources prior to the District Grants Meeting.
4.  Once your pre-proposal has been reviewed and approved at the District Grants meeting, you will be assigned a mentor who will assist you in completing your actual Global Grant application in the Grants Center in My Rotary.  Our goal is to ensure that your application is complete, well-written, and includes all of the necessary attachments and endorsements.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about this process.

Hope to see you all in Bend on July 8!
