Rotary’s new addition to the Areas of Focus, is Supporting the Environment. But what does this mean? How will this affect club your club’s opportunities to obtain a Global Grant? What about the impact of this new focus on our local projects? Isn’t this a political issue? So many questions!

We’ve got just the person to answer them in this fourth in our series exploring provocative issues facing Rotary and the world. In a lively interview format, past RI President, Ian Riseley, will answer these questions, and more, posed by our own DG Cindi O’Neil and District Environment Chair, Nikki Rizzardini. Riseley has stated forcefully that “Environmental degradation and global climate change are serious threats to everyone. They are having a disproportionate impact on those who are most vulnerable, those to whom Rotary has the greatest responsibility.”

Join us for this important conversation at 7.00pm this Thursday, November 19, and learn how your club can connect and respond to this seventh Area of Focus.  To register, go to the DACdb calendar for November 19 OR to the website calendar on district5110.org.
