Mitra Rahbar's mission is your opportunity

Join the Rotary Club of Eugene Metropolitan to learn how Mitra Rahbar is making education possible for girls in Iran.

An author and singer, her work has been recommended by celebrities from Sheryl Crow to Jennifer Aniston. She has been featured and interviewed by news outlets from Larry King to Maria Shriver.

From her bio:

Mitra comes from a lineage of peacemakers, and poets. Her strong convictions and beliefs to lead a life of simplicity and philanthropy have been very influenced by her mother, a well-known poet, Mehrtaj Safai. 
 
Mitra also conducted a one-day fundraiser for the victims of the last earthquake in Herat, Afghanistan. Over 450 children and 25 families were given support and aid through her fundraiser.
 
Mitra continues to do global outreach in the Middle East for young girls and is also very active in the US as a thought leader and teacher. 

All are welcome Tuesday night, January 30th at 6 pm Pacific to be inspired by her passion for young students seeking an education and better opportunities.
