choose service

Want to make new friends while you make the world a better place? If you’re at a place in your life where you want to give back now’s a great time to get involved in your community and abroad!

How To Join Rotary

community awaits

If you are interested in becoming a member of Rotary, we encourage you to reach out to a club in your area. We are a very friendly bunch.

Start by Finding a Club
  • Find a Club

Use the Find a Club feature on this page to help you connect with a club in your area. Click on a club near you to get details about when and where they meet. Clubs typically meet at breakfast or lunch and, depending on your area, a few offer evening meetings.

  • Contact the Club

Use the club contact information to email the club or view the club’s website. Let the President or Membership Chair know when you’d like to visit their club.

  • Visit a Club

Rotary clubs are as different as their members! Going to a club’s meeting will give you a sense of their personality and priorities. Feel free to visit a couple of clubs in your area to find the right fit for your schedule and lifestyle.

  • Ask About Club Activities

Feel free to ask club members about their favorite projects and programs. Service is the most important part of every club. Many also do fun activities and outings like wine tasting, baseball games, or rafting.

  • Ask About Club Dues

All Rotary clubs support their philanthropy through annual membership dues. These dues vary by club and some include the cost of meals. Clubs may also ask you to help support community activies, fundraisers, auctions, and Rotary International drives like Polio Plus and The Rotary Foundation. Make sure you are comfortable with the overall outlay of dues and event expenses.

  • Apply to Join

When you find a club that matches what you’re looking for let them know you’re ready to join and they will share an application packet to start the process.
