District 5110 Interact is sponsoring a free virtual event, on Saturday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Called Leadership Launch, it’s designed to engage and inspire Interactors and others interested in challenging themselves to succeed and excel, even in the face of adversity. It will begin with a keynote address by Charlie Engle, a world-class ultramarathoner, motivational speaker, and author of Running Man.  With candor and insight, Charlie will describe his own personal struggles – his has not been a simple or easy path. Participants will be invited to interact with Charlie and each other following the keynote.

Bridget Markwood, CEO of LeaderNU, will bring her team of young leaders for sessions on preparing for success in college and beyond. Bridget and her team led our wildly successful eRYLA program last spring. She has 23 years of experience with RYLA, with an emphasis on self-awareness and character development. She and her team are known for facilitating lively and informative conversations with RYLA participants.

Interactors and Rotaractors will also showcase successful and innovative service projects. Rotarians and students are invited to register using the link on the event poster.
