Refugees of the Forest

Tuesday, October 10th at 6 pm Pacific

Filmmaker and zoologist Dana Vion will take you to several African countries through her photography and advocacy on Tuesday, October 10th at 6 pm Pacific. If you’re reading this week’s District 5110 newsletter, that’s tonight!

Join us to learn about her commitment to saving the chimpanzees and their forests in a rapidly industrializing world.

Rotary International’s commitment to Protecting the Environment is our seventh Area of Focus and a crucial opportunity for People of Action as well as Service Above Self. We’re excited to learn more about the efforts to protect both animals and their ecosystems.

All are welcome at The Davis Restaurant in downtown Eugene or comment below for Metro’s permanent Zoom link.

  1. Exciting! I wish I could join in person, but I am out on the coast, in Lincoln City. I hiked with to see gorillas in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was incredible.
