It’s just three weeks until the long awaited Rotary Foundation Roundup. That’s right: on October 21, Saturday, From 3 pm to 7 pm we’ll celebrate in beautiful Jacksonville, Oregon. It is only fitting that one of the world’s greatest humanitarian foundations and one of the world’s most celebrated BBQ chefs align to make this a celebration to remember.
Dinner is provided by Rick Browne, a renowned barbecue pit master, chef, journalist, photojournalist, author, and TV cooking show host, who has traveled the world on assignment for consumer, travel, news and airline magazines. Rick is one of only 27 people in the world who has been awarded the Ph.B. (Doctor of Barbeque Philosophy) by the Kansas City Barbeque Society.
Rick was the Editor-in-Chief of Barbecue America Magazine and the creator and host of public television’s popular Barbecue America TV series.
So register on Dacdb now for the Rotary Foundation Roundup BBQ and Celebration at the Bigham School House in Jacksonville. The event is cowboy/girl casual and all the family is welcome. Children free.
