Rotarians recently constructed 25 beds through our partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a local project that provides beds to children who don’t have one to sleep in.

The service project was a collaboration with the 3 other Bend Rotary clubs. More than 50 volunteers rolled up their sleeves on a late October Saturday morning to sand, drill, stain, brand and assemble the bed components.

We finished the work in record time and had a great deal of fun, knowing that our hard work would be an act of kindness to local children and families. Thanks to Rotary Club of Bend members Joe Myers and Mike Mowry for organizing this build and giving our club a tremendous opportunity to make a difference in our community.

Rotary Club of Bend regularly organizes local and international service projects and invites members and guests to participate.
