Nine Rotary clubs spanning Jefferson, Crook and Deschutes Counties are teaming up to raise the last $100,000 needed to construct a crucial food warehouse. Linda Johnson, president of Rotary Club of Bend, spoke on behalf of the 7 clubs that attended the groundbreaking event. Johnson talked about why the project is important to Rotary and the connection between food insecurity and aspects of a healthy community.
