Isn’t it great to be a Rotarian!!!
Here is a wonderful thank you letter from the group in Kenya that the RC of Medford has helped with two different District Grants.
To the Rotary Club of Medford:
We experienced “Shock,” “Shock,” and “Shock” after the lock-down in our country. This is the word that came to our mind. How would we get our daily meal? During the COVID Pandemic many of us went without food.
We cried and cried because there was no one to turn to. Until one day I was called by Charles and asked to call the Makena Foundation parents together and that day came. And, without more talking, everyone received food. Then we all cried tears of joy. This happened not once, but for more than a year we received help from you good people. It changed our lifestyle and our life because we had nothing in our farms because the climate was bad.
We are grateful to Rotary.
On behalf of all Makena Parents and families we have not enough words to express our thanks. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
We wish God’s blessings in your life, working places, and your families.
