Wendy Westcott is the 2025-2026 District Logistics Coordinator

District Governors often rely an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff – but neither of these titles felt quite right to Wendy Westcott.

What is a Logistics Coordinator, you ask?

District Governors often rely on someone to help them stay organized, informed, and on schedule. Some call this role an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff—but neither of those titles felt quite right to Wendy Westcott. As the owner of four UPS Stores in the Eugene/Springfield area, logistics is quite literally her business: getting things where they need to go, efficiently and reliably.

DGE Chris Waugh was looking for someone to help her as a District Governor – keeping up with the logistics of club visits, and helping in other ways. Wendy was a new Rotarian and joined one of the satellite clubs of the Eugene Southtowne. She jumped into Rotary, attending Rotary Leadership Institute and assuming the Chair role of her club.

Wendy explains: “I became a Rotarian in 2023 because I wanted to make a difference in my community. I met Chris Waugh at this time and was inspired by her passion for Rotary and her efforts to make it relevant today.  When she asked me to be her Logistics Coordinator for the 2025-2026 year of her District Governor position, the answer was an enthusiastic YES! I’m proud to be a local business owner as well as a Rotarian, giving back to my community.”

As the Logistics Coordinator, Wendy is also giving back to the District by “herding the squirrel,” aka DGE Chris Waugh!
