The primary focus of Zones 26 & 27 is to support the work being done by the Rotary and Rotaract Clubs in our Zones. This is an incredible resource for you and your club.

The Zone provides opportunities for learning and skill development in topics such as membership, public image, and The Rotary Foundation, as well as networking and interaction at the annual Rotary Institute. Zone education staff provide valuable training each year for incoming District Governors.

Around the globe, Rotary is divided into 34 geographic zones, which are grouped into pairs. Each Rotary International Director represents two of these “paired” zones, serving a two-year term on the Rotary Board of Directors.

Zone coordinators – who specialize in areas such as membership, public image, The Rotary Foundation, and PolioPlus – provide opportunities for learning, networking, and skill development, among their peers in each District.

Each year, they coordinate a Rotary Institute to bring together leaders from throughout our Districts for interactive, peer-based discussion sessions and presentations by world-class speakers. Zone education staff provide valuable training each year for our incoming District Governors.

Trails to Peace – Zone Institute

All Trails Lead to Salt Lake City, location of the 2022 Rotary Zones 26/27 Institute.

This year many of our district members are helping to create a very memorable event for you. Among them; Rick Olson is working on the breakout session curriculum, Cindi O’Neil is putting together IMAGINE PEACE – A Rotary World Café, LeAnn Mobley will be conducting a hands-on training session for grant writing.

The main difference between this year’s Institute and others is the focus. This year the focus is not on just technical presentations but on storytelling. The heart and soul of Rotary is in the stories we have to tell.
