Did you know that youth who find themselves on the street for just two weeks are more likely to become chronically homeless without intervention?
15th Night is a Eugene, Oregon-based committed to ending youth homelessness “by connecting existing resources and finding innovative ways to keep youth in school and off the streets.”
We only have about 10 tickets left for the event to meet our fundraising goal. And all proceeds (yes 100%!) from this fundraiser will go to support the life-changing and life-saving work that 15th Night does.
Last month, 15th Night responded to 108 alerts from community organizations and schools working with 1,522 students navigating homelessness in the 4J, Springfield and Bethel School Districts. The three most common requests? Shelter, food, and healthcare.
“Our committed, dedicated network of volunteers and community partners intervenes quickly so that youth who are unstably housed can connect to community resources and services. By removing barriers, the 15th Night network creates access, connecting youth to existing support services and resources in real time.”

Thanks for posting this event information. FYI for all Rotarians, any donations made via the event website will automatically generate a tax-deductible donation receipt, will go directly to 15th Night, and will give you the option of receiving updates on how your donations have an impact.
15th Night is taking concrete steps to reduce the rate of homelessness in Eugene-Springfield. In addition, 15th Night leadership has a process established to help other communities implement a similar model, so contact 15th Night directly if you’re not in this area and would like to see how their model might be transposed to your community.
