If you read many articles in the Rotary magazine, you’ve likely read incredible stories by journalist Kate Silver.
This Thursday, January 23rd at 12:30 pm Pacific, you can hear more about the stories behind two of her international stories – the critical restoration work Rotary is doing to protect mangroves around the world, and the unbelievable story of a Rotarian who survived a kidnapping during a Group Study Exchange trip in 2009.
Silver’s stories will take us from the Bahamas to Nigeria to Canada but you can hear all of them by Zoom-ing to the Oregon Coast with your friends and fellow Rotarians.
Silver is committed to never doing a PowerPoint presentation in her life, so Heather M. Edwards from the Rotary Club of Eugene Metropolitan will be interviewing the interviewer. You’re invited to the conversation!
Comment below for the Rotary Club of Port Orford’s Zoom link. See you Thursday!
