Mark Miranda to Replace Greg Stewart as District Registrar

What’s a District Registrar? That’s one of the vital positions in the District that nobody really knows about. The role involves setting up District events that need specific details on DACdb – such as menu choices, or break-out sessions.

What’s a District Registrar? That’s one of the vital positions in the District that nobody really knows about. The role involves setting up District events that need specific details on DACdb – such as menu choices, or break-out sessions. If you’ve come to Club Learning Assembly (CLA) in Cottage Grove, you’ve seen the Registrar’s work.

Mark Miranda agreed to take on the position as of July 1. He is replacing Greg Stewart, who has been Registrar for ten years. (Thanks, Greg!) The Registrar typically serves three consecutive one-year terms.

Mark has been a Rotarian in Newport since 2003, and served as club president in 2012-2013. He is also the Assistant Governor for the North Coast Clubs.

Mark is one of those Rotarians who says yes when asked to help. He quipped, “As far as how I plan to approach this position is to figure out how to do it.”
