New Rotarian connections and global project support were made through a recent Rotary Friendship Exchange with Peru! A team of Rotarians from around our District traveled to Peru for 3 weeks on a Rotary Friendship Exchange earlier this year. This month, our District hosted the incoming Peruvian RFE team in the Rogue Valley, Eugene/Springfield, and Florence communities.
The Rotary Friendship Exchange Program is a reciprocal international program where Rotarians, families, and friends host and visit each other abroad. Its purpose is cultural immersion, enhancing international understanding, and promoting peace.
Exchanges are funded by participants and they are open to both Rotarians and non-Rotarians.
The experiences on both continents for both the inbound and outbound RFE teams were truly memorable! The friendships formed were priceless and the projects supported were heartfelt.
If you would like to participate in a future Rotary Friendship Exchange, stay tuned to updates in the District Newsletter or reach out to your District’s RFE Chair for more information! It could change your life and create those Rotary Moments!
