I received an email yesterday, supposedly from DG Jim Polk – the 2024-2025 Governor. He is not DG this year, but I read it anyway. It said:
“Sorry to disturb you, Are you less busy at the moment? I will call you later, I have got a request for you to manage discreetly! Kindly get back to me through this gmail! Thanks…” The sender’s address was rotarydistrict2023.24@gmail.com – not the email I recognize for Jim.
This was obviously a scam. Be on guard, fellow Rotarians! Spammers don’t abide by the four-way test!
