How Sweet It Is!

Medford Rogue Rotary held a fun and very productive fellowship event at a local brewery where our club built thirty-six LIFE-SIZED LOLLIPOPS in preparation for our second annual Winter in Candyland event.

The Medford Rogue Rotary Club has begun construction on props for our second annual “Winter in Candyland” event in February 2025. We partner with The Family Nurturing Center on this free community event where families create “sweet” memories while walking through a life-sized Candyland village.

Eighteen Rotarians, friends and family, including special guest and confectioner extraordinaire District Governor Nelson Mailer, showed up at Gold Rush Brewing in Medford to build LIFE-SIZED LOLLIPOPS for the event. Thirty-six new lollipops were built at this productive fellowship event adding to our growing collection of candy including giant gumdrops and super-sized hard-wrapped candies. We needed to add to our candy inventory as our first-time event last year attracted 3000 attendees and we are anticipating 5000 attendees this year with an increase in venue size.

Thanks to all those who showed up, helped build the lollipops and refrained from sneaking licks.
