Cottage Grove Rotary meets at El Tapatio Restaurant every other Wednesday from 5 – 6:30. Karol Kuhn Simons, Club President, opened the meeting. During announcements, she promoted a new club fundraiser they are piloting – it’s a 3-hour effective leadership workshop. Watch for it on DACdb’s District Calendar.
They’re also hosting a Chamber Business after Hours to promote Rotary and attract members! Great idea – I bet you could steal it.

Like so many other smaller clubs, Cottage Grove has strong ties to its community. They spearheaded the South Lane Family Relief Nursery, which provides early childhood therapeutic care and family support services that help strengthen vulnerable families and prevent child abuse and neglect – so important in this rural area.
