What Is Rotary?

Rotary is a global organization made up of local people who care about their communities.

Rotary clubs bring together people who:

  • Want to give back
  • Enjoy meaningful connections
  • Believe in service above self

Each club is a little different, but all share a commitment to making a positive impact — locally and around the world.

Why Try Rotary Now?

Because sometimes the best way to understand something is to experience it. You never know, it might change your life.

When you visit a Rotary club during the Try Rotary campaign, you can:

  • Attend a meeting or event
  • Meet people from your community
  • Learn how Rotary supports local and global causes
  • Enter to win exciting prizes

You don’t need to prepare anything or know anyone in advance. Just show up.

A group of Rotarians admire a Rotary Peace Pole in Southern Oregon. A Peace Pole is a monument that displays the message May Peace Prevail On Earth in the language of the country where it is placed. It usually displays 3 to 7 additional languages meaningful to the host site. Its placement furthers Rotary's goal of building a culture of peace throughout the world.
