On the Fly with DG Chris – Redmond Satellite Club

The Redmond Satellite Club is our newest club in District 5110. It is geared to working professionals and other people who want to join Rotary but cannot make a noon meeting. It is held downstairs in the Testimony Wine Bar after work. Kari, the owner, helped with the big screen setup.

The satellite has good support from its parent club – several Redmond members were there. We talked about how to ensure the success of a satellite club – communication, inclusion, and autonomy are all important.

There were FIVE red-badgers! Check out their energy!

That concluded my club visits – our District has 60 clubs, 4 Rotaract Clubs, and 5 Satellites! I put 8,600 miles on my car and listened to a lot of Audible.
