I thought that we all need a little boost mid-way through the Rotary year, so I held a voluntary President’s and AG’s refueling session in Cottage Grove on Saturday, January 10th. 29 people showed up (!) to share what energizes them in their role, as well as what saps their energy. I reminded them that, although metrics are important, they should keep their focus on the meaning of why we all join Rotary. After lunch, we reconvened to hear what District Membership Cheerleader, Kellie Hill, and District Public Image Chair, Deanna Rivera, shared with us. And I got to meet Yoda – our new District Dog! Stay tuned for exciting news on “Try Rotary”, our new Public Image Campaign!
