Rotary Leadership Institute

Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a development program of member districts in various parts of the world to help both new and experienced Rotarians with the knowledge and leadership skills that are so important in various roles that Rotary clubs must fill.  You should consider participating in RLI if you aspire to or are currently serving in club leadership positions. RLI provides attendees with a quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills that are so important in volunteer organizations such as ours.

RLI is our District’s primary learning opportunity and is available to all Rotarians. Session topics cover Rotary basics, The Rotary Foundation and grants, Rotary public image and brand, membership, leadership, teamwork, and more. Sessions are interactive, fun, based on principles of adult learning, and facilitated by Rotary topic experts, some of whom were past District Governors.

Cottage Grove RLI – Registration Now Open

The next RLI is planned for February 1-2, 2025 at the Community Center in Cottage Grove. RLI is our District’s primary learning opportunity and is available to all Rotarians and Rotaractors. Session topics cover Rotary basics, The Rotary Foundation and grants, Rotary public image and brand, membership, leadership, teamwork and more. Sessions are interactive, fun, based on principles of adult learning, and facilitated by fellow Rotarians who are learning leaders, some of whom are topic area experts and past District Governors.

TIMES/DATES/COST
RLI Cottage Grove is $200 and will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday (2/1) and will conclude not later than 3:30 on Sunday (2/2). A dinner is planned for Saturday evening and is part of the RLI program. The registration link below details the meals that are included along with the Refund Policy and payment options. Please note: Refunds are not subject to the cancelation fee when a person on the waiting list takes your spot.

Some clubs have scholarships or grants available to be distributed to eligible Rotarians, so please check with your club President, Secretary or Board Officer.
